We pledge our support for the Task Force on Climate-Related Disclosures (TCFD) and strive to report the risks that impact our stakeholders as well as our portfolio.

GOVERNANCE

SM Prime's Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) monitors the company's risk management processes to ensure its effectiveness and reports regularly to the Board of Directors through the Risk Oversight Committee. ERM updates the BOD of the status of key risks for resolution including threats posed by natural calamities to the properties.

STRATEGY

To address climate change, we focus on resiliency and the reduction of the company's carbon footprint. Our Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) and disaster resilient features improve our organizational resilience while we employ energy efficiency, water conservation, solid waste management and biodiversity programs across the company.

RISK
MANAGEMENT

The company's properties are exposed to physical risk from climate change with varying impact. We are able to identify, mitigate and monitor these risks via our ERM framework including the ISO 22301 BCMS certification of the malls.
