The SM Prime Holdings Inc. (SMPH) has been conducting regular cleanups of the overspill canal at the SM Mall of Asia Complex since December 2020. The activity involves the removal of solid waste and debris along the Mall of Asia stretch of Manila Bay – and is part of the company’s ongoing efforts in support of the Philippine Government’s Manila Bay Rehabilitation program. SM’s regular cleanup drive initiatives support the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 11, Sustainable Cities and Communities, and SDG 14, Life Below Water.
